For the first time since 2003, a British Army Polo team was invited to play in Pakistan. Lead by Captain Paddy Selfe, the team won two matches against members of the Pakistan Army at the Lahore military polo grounds. The Sanger Cup for the MVP, which dates back to 1935, was awarded to Major Muhamed Humair Ghazi. The Army Polo Association looks forward to welcoming the Pakistan Army Team to England in 2024.
